Police Arrest Two Men Over Alleged Rapes In Ebonyi State

Two men were apprehended on suspicion of ravishment in Ebonyi State.
According to the information provided by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the sate, Mr Chris Anyanwu, Anyanwu, two suspects (names withheld) were apprehended for allegedly ravishing two women.
A 23-year-old SS3 student was ravished by the suspect who picked her up and headed to the Okporo forest, Okporo village in Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State. When arrived to an isolated place the motorcyclist brutally beat her and sexually assaulted.
Another suspect, was ar reposed for an alleged endeavor to ravish a 30-year-old woman in her farm, where she was cultivating wheat.
The offender lured the woman into a building where he assail his victim with intent to commit rape. Luckily, the woman was rescued by two passersby, who auricularly discerned woman's cries for avail.
Both of the men were apprehended and soon would be dragged to the court.
One more shocking case of ravishment was made available to newsmen by PPRO: A 38-year-old man was detained by the police for brutal rape of 82-year-old woman at Okposi in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
