The unnamed FRSC official being manhandled on the street
An FRSC official was close to being lynched at the volatile Jibowu area of Lagos state as residents prepared for church this morning.
According to an eye witness who reported the anomaly on social media, an angry mob pounced on him after accusing him of causing an accident in the area.

"On my way to church this morning, I witnessed a hot chase of a FRSC officer by some men. They eventually caught up with him at Jibowu and he was severely brutalized. He's alleged to have caused an accident while trying to flag a motorist down."
Jungle justice has become prominent in the Nigerian society despite several means by the government to discourage the act.
