The 28-year-old Bayelsa indigene failed to complete his task last month due to heavy downpour which disrupted his mission just few kilometers to break the record.
He was supposed to trek 60 kilometers with ball on his head but could only cover 38 kilometers before heavy rain pour in Bayelsa.
Earlier today, Tonye Solomon started his journey from Amassoma town en-route Tombia town, Agudama-epie with the finish line at peace Park, Yenagoa, Bayalsa State. Tonye Solomon travelled a distance of about 52km with the ball on his head.
The current title holder is also a Nigerian Chinedu Harrison who dethroned the former champion Indian soldier Naib Singh when he walked a distance of 48.04km in six hours,15 minutes to upset Naib Singhs records.
