(AFP) – FIFA officials are investigating claims by Italy advocator Giorgio Chiellini that Uruguay’s Luis Suarez bit him during Tuesday’s World Cup match.
FIFA verbalized they would wait for match reports from Uruguay’s World Cup win over Italy afore deciding whether to take action against Suarez.
“We are awaiting the official match reports and will accumulate all the indispensable elements in order to evaluate the matter,” a FIFA spokeswoman verbally expressed after Uruguay’s 1-0 win over Italy.
Television replays appeared to show Suarez endeavoring to sink his teeth into Chiellini’s shoulder.
